In the Himalayas, a shot of a running soldier's foot clearly shows sand, not snow.

Just before the battle at the temple bridge, Rick has a Thompson Sub-Machine Gun loaded with a 50-round drum.

When the battle begins, the Thompson has a 30-round stick magazine.

During the 1947 Chinese New Year celebrations, a black Dodge four-door sedan has hubcaps from the late 1970s.

The drum set in the nightclub is not from the 1930s.

Some of the hardware (ex.

cymbal stands) was not available until the 1980s.

The dancing girls in the nightclub have plastic straps on their bras.

In ancient China, oracle bones were turtle shells that were heated during divination, the cracks that appeared across Chinese characters written on the shells were then interpreted to foretell the future.

On the mountain, Rick says he had more experience with mummies.

Alex says that he only killed one.

Rick then says it was the same mummy twice.

Both are wrong.

First, Rick killed many mummies in the previous movies--Imhotep and many of his priests.

Second, Rick only killed Imhotep _The Mummy (1999)_ (qv), the underworld spirits killed Imhotep in _The Mummy Returns (2001)_ (qv).

In the museum scene, Choi grabs Evie and wraps her arm around Evie's neck.

Evie gets away.

In the next shot, Choi's arm is around Evie's neck again.

A tan 1949 Austin passes in front of a bookstore in 1947.

When Alex and Lin are under the Emperor's wagon during the chase, Alex turns himself around, and is dragged in the street for a fair distance while Lin tries to reach him to pull him up.

When she succeeds, the back of Alex's shirt is shredded, and a protective pad is visible through the tears.

In the next shot, his shirt is intact.

At the beginning of the movie, the Dragon Emperor is shown planning his campaign on a model of China which has the Great Wall portrayed on it, even though the Dragon Emperor himself built the wall AFTER the campaign.

When the Emperor is first turned to stone, both arms are raised up and he is slightly hunched down.

When he is unearthed, he is encased in a different Terra Cota warrior who is standing straight, one hand straight out, grasping the chariot's reins.

However, when he breaks out, his hands are shown straight up and it is clear he is trapped inside another statue in his original position.

The Terracotta Army are called "mummies" throughout.

Yet not one character in this movie goes through the mummification process.

The only mummy we see is the fake Emperor that Lin stabs.

In the beginning of the movie, General Ming was ripped to pieces after having been chained by both arms and legs.

He would have had to have lost a minimum of three limbs in the process, rather than just the one arm.

The orchestral chimes behind the drummer are turned around backwards, facing the curtain behind the band.

Evelyn Carnehan-O'Connell is supposed to be as British as John Bull, but in many scenes her voice sounds like an American actress attempting, with some difficulty, to affect a British accent.

Before the Himalayan fight scene, when Rick and Alex are comparing weapons, Rick pulls out a Colt 1873 Single Action Army.

He refers to this gun as "The Peacekeeper.

" The correct term is "The Peacemaker.

" In _The Mummy Returns (2001)_ (qv), Alex clearly has an English accent akin to his mother's.

In this film, however, he seems to have an American accent.

The bullet Evelyn pulls from her mouth is compressed, as though it had struck a solid object.

A close-range shot would have passed straight through a trout, unless it first went through water on the way to the trout.

The aircraft used to fly to the Himalayas is Beaufighter which was a single seat fighter-bomber of World War 2 and was not a transport aircraft.

Also, the color scheme and code markings make it out as a Royal Australian Air Force Beaufighter that served in the South East Asia Command which includes India, Burma, Southern China.

When Evelyn discovers the bullet in the trout, she pulls it out of her mouth.

In the next shot of the left side of her face, she pulls the bullet out again.

However, given Rick's personality, it is quite possible that he shot it twice.

When we first see Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) he is apparently fly-fishing in a river in Oxfordshire.

However, the visible geology of the river is not found in Oxfordshire (exposed tilted rock beds, pebbled river beds).

This is more likely either elsewhere in the UK, or more likely, a location in the US.

During the final fight sequence when the dagger is broken it lands on the floor with the handle section at a 90 degree angle to the blade that broke off.

When they show it after Alex has picked up the blade section it shows them as being parallel to each other from the impression left in the sand.

When Rick comes home, and goes into the closet, he is supposed to have a hook in his neck as exclaimed by the butler.

The hook disappears as the camera pans from one angle to the next.

!! Contains a spoiler regarding a prequel !!

Being a huge fan of the original Mummy film, and even loving the second, I was looking forward to this. It had a rating on IMDb that was far lower than the other 2, but hey, it's The Mummy!

The franchise "The Mummy" started in a spectacular way, bringing an adventure tone as not seen in cinema for several years. With worldwide success, a sequence was soon ordered that, although inferior and not original, also achieved an excellent collection at the box office.

10 lines minimum to say how bad it is? It is bad!

The Plot: The 3rd installment in the Mummy franchise, after battling mummies from Egypt, the main star "Rick O'Connell" (Brendan Fraser) is back. Now in this insane adventure of a Emperor of the past who was dominating the land.

I'm a fan of Stephen Sommers' Mummy series. I really loved the first one, and The Mummy Returns was pretty good as well.

This is a spoiler! Don't watch this movie.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, appears to have a strong backbone... the script is written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and is directed by Rob Cohen of XXX and The Fast & the Furious fame.

The character, Evelyn Carnahan O'Connell made a decent blond haired zombie in this movie. Unfortunately, it's clear that was not her role.
