When the taxi driver in Rome first exits the cab, his finger is bandaged.

A minute later, it has no bandage.

In the graveyard, when Thorne kneels at his son's grave, he bumps the heavy stone lid quite easily, yet it takes both Thorne and the photographer considerable effort to move it a moment later.

After Robert Thorne stabs Miss Blaylock in the kitchen, the Rottweiler dog trapped in the basement is heard howling, but his mouth is obviously making barking motions.

Keith Jennings, the photographer, says that Megiddo is 60 miles south of Jerusalem.

In fact, it is north of Jerusalem, 22 miles north of Shechem and 15 miles south of Haifa.

Actually, it is the other way around - "Armageddon" is a bastardization of "Har Megiddo", which, in Hebrew, means simply "mountain of Megiddo".

According to Revelation 16:16, this would be the site of the last battle in history.

The process for revealing a photo goes like thisRevealer, Water, Fixer and Water.

When Jennings is revealing the picture, he takes it out of the revealer and exposes it to light, without the picture being submerged in fixer.

A picture that has not been in fixer will start blackening instantly by the light.

He treated the photo as though the whole process had been completed.

When Jennings is killed, you can see the hydraulic rubber belt flinging the plate glass off the back of the loading truck towards the manikin upon its supposed impact against the log Jennings was kneeling behind.

In the final between Mrs.

Baylock and Mr.

Thorn, the blood stains on the door of the fridge change and some disappear.

When Katherine falls off the second floor and lands her right arm is pointing up, then they cut to the child looking at her.

When they cut back to her, her right arm is pointing down.

As Katherine falls from the hospital window, she waves both arms on the way down even though her right arm and shoulder are solidly immobilized in a cast.

Jennings shows a picture he had mistakenly taken of his own reflection in the mirror at the priest's apartment.

In the photograph, however, he is clearly not pointing the camera at himself.

When Mr.

Thorne is in Damien's room with the scissors while he is asleep, you can see Damien's eyes blink.

In the final scene at the graveyard the President and his wife can be seen standing shoulder to shoulder as they are approached by the Secret Serviceman.

The next camera shot, a split second later, they are standing apart as Damien has now been stood between them, holding their hands.

British police officers (especially in the 1970s) do not carry firearms as standard issue, and yet the officers who enter the church at the end of the film are carrying guns.

In the first scene when Robert Thorne is being driven through Rome, the time is specified as 6.

00AM and the date is June 6th.

The sun rises in Rome at 5.

30am at that time of year, which would mean it was reasonably light outside, but Robert is being driven in the dark.

Portending a bad Omen, the film's promotional dialogue barks, "The prophecy is clear, the signs are unmistakable, Armageddon is upon us - and our darkest fears are revealed… as an unspeakable horror is unleashed on the world! U.

June 6, 2006 is the only reason fox decided to remake a film that was so groundbreaking and terrifiying for it's time it's considered a masterpiece to horror purists. First the bad and good of this version: The bad: Liev schreiber and Julia Stiles are no Gregory Peck and Lee Remick, John Moore is no Richard Donner,Marco Beltrami is no Jerry Golsmith (Who won an Oscar for the original) and Mia Farrow is simply miscast as the evil Mrs.

Some may agree this film is a continuation to 1968's "Rosemary's Baby", since there the son of the devil is born, and here he grows up in the (wrong) family. I remember back when I was in my 12, I watched this with a friend in a Sunday morning.

Before I begin, let me state for the record I have not seen the original, so cannot make any judgment of this as a remake!As a stand alone film, however, this leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering the pretty capable cast that was lined up.

All these remakes and reboots and sequels and and and are so unwanted. Does anyone want these things?

Gregory Peck & Lee Remick play Robert and Katharine Thorn, a U.S.

With its excellent screenplay, Richard Donner's solid, atmospheric direction, and Jerry Goldsmith's powerful score, 'The Omen' is a sublime horror film on every level and a rare example of a Hollywood production in the genre that actually gets everything right.

This was not suspenseful in the least. I didn't get to the end because I was so bored.
