Gamble owns a red Prius.

At one point, the right rear door is replaced by a gray door (due to events happening in the movie).

Later, when the car is on a train, the door reverts to red.

However, two scenes later, the car door is gray again.

At the beginning when Allen and Terry are sitting at their desks, Terry is playing solitaire on his computer.

As the camera cuts back and forth while he shouts at Allen for his singing, the card setup changes two or three times.

After the accountant office blows up, you can see an ambulance with a phone number on it that started with 718 NY area code, but they are supposed to be in New Jersey.

In the scene where Allen and Terry are at the McManus pub, drinking beer, the level of liquid rises from one shot to another.

Terry also leaves the pub, even though his beer is more than three quarters full.

After the Prius is first shot up by the helicopter, there are several large bullet holes in the hood with large areas of white surrounding them (missing paint).

Later after the scene at the driving range when it is shot some more, there are now a lot of small bullet holes with smaller areas of missing paint on the hood.

When Allen is trying to remember the name of the 'Meg Ryan' (qv) movie at dinner, he says it was "She's Got Mail" instead of _You've Got Mail (1998)_ (qv) and Sheila agrees.

When PK and Chris Danson come back from being honored by the city of New York, the medals around their neck are visible while they are boasting/talking to the other officers in the squad room.

But right before they leave the squad room, the medals are no longer around their necks.

Early on in the film, Allen and Terry are sitting at their desks arguing with each other.

You can see what Allen is typing on his computer.

He types the same line twice.

When Allen and Terry are crossing the bridge in the Prius, a Volvo semi-truck can be seen next to them on the driver's side.

When the angle changes to an overhead shot, without the dialogue breaking, there is no truck there.

At the wake during the scuffle, a picture behind Allen changes with each cutaway.

The picture goes from askew to straight to askew multiple times.

The shoes that Terry first wears in the ballet class scene are flat soled black sneakers.

When we see him spinning around, he is wearing black split soled dance sneakers with a bendable arch.

As he walks out of the class he is again wearing the flat soled black sneakers.

In the scene where Martin and Fosse are speaking to schoolchildren and get a call to collar Gamble and Hoitz, Martin is shown holstering his gun.

Then the camera cuts away to the children, and Martin is shown with gun in hand again.

When Hoitz and Gamble are shocked with the stun guns they both pass out.

A stun gun doesn't render a person unconscious.

It has quite the opposite effect.

When Allen and Terry are walking up to the accountant office, Allen is not wearing his glasses.

However, when they're both laying on the ground after the explosion, suddenly Allen is wearing his glasses.

After crashing through Ershon's apartment complex's parking garage gate, the front of Gamble's Prius is visibly damaged.

The next time the front of the car is shown, it is unharmed.

After Hoytz and Gamble are out for a night of heavy drinking, the film then dissolves to a shot of the Sun rising over a city skyline.

Although the story is set in New York City, the skyline in the shot is actually the city of Boston.

After the accounting office blows up, Allen is on the ground with his wooden pistol in his holster.

In the same scene his wooden gun is missing from his holster, then it reappears in his holster.

When they receive the glasses of water from the assistant the doors are actually quite a distance from the desk, yet as you see the assistant come through them with the water she is right at their chairs in the next shot when it would've taken her much longer to get to them.

You can tell that no extra time had elapsed because the dialogue was continuous.

When driving across the George Washington Bridge, the trees are in full fall colors.

In all other scenes, the trees are all green.

As Allen and Terry are rolling around on the ground just after being knocked down by the explosion at the accounting office, you can clearly see Allen's wooden gun on the ground as Allen has his hands clasped against his head.

In the next shot from a different perspective, the gun is back in the holster but Allen is still holding his head.

During the "Good Cop, Bad Cop" scene, Allen takes a painting off the wall and throws it down.

Then it's on the wall again.

A radio call goes out for a "211 in progress.

" 211 is the Los Angeles Police Department's code for an armed robbery, which is derived from the California Penal Code.

The NYPD code for an armed robbery is a "10-30".

In the closing credits, the globe is rotating in the incorrect direction.

The Earth rotates counterclockwise, not clockwise.

When Gamble and Hoitz get a call about a possible jumper at Beaman's office the location given is 3 World Financial Center 23rd Floor.

The building shown is not World Financial Center.

At one point Allen Gamble states that this is the second time he has ever fired his weapon, but earlier on when they're at the bar drinking there are multiple still shots of him discharging a firearm in the bar.

However, at the time of the bar scene, he still had the wooden gun so he must have been shooting Terry's gun, thus still being able to correctly say he'd only shot his own gun twice.

When Captain Mauch is giving the pep talk at his Bed Bath and Beyond job, he says there is a serial rapist in Crown Heights.

He works as a cop in Manhattan, Crown Heights is in Brooklyn.

When Allen turns around the white Ford van (Grand Theft Auto move), the van's reverse lights are on throughout the spin/collision.

When Terry visits the art gallery, he is told not to set his drink on the installation coffee table.

When he looks closer to read the description card, the artist is listed as M.

Pollard.

But then Francine tells him that it is an original Habberfield Jammeson piece.

As Terry is sliding down the board room table on his back, one of his guns falls out of his hand near the end.

When he is on the ground, he has a gun in both hands.

When Alan and Terry go to Christinith's house, it's daytime.

A few minutes later they leave, and it's nighttime.

When Allen is having his flashbacks of how he becomes a pimp, the stack of $20 bills is of the current $20 bill.

During that time period, it should have been the Series 1995 $20 bill.

After the explosion at the lawyers office in Jersey, Alan's wooden gun is on the ground.

In the next scene, the gun is in its holster.

Allen and Terry run out of his ex girlfriends house, Cristinith and her husband are right behind them.

Then Allen and Terry are sitting in the Prius for quite awhile before the couple runs up to them.

Just after the explosion at the accounting firm, Tony and Allen are writhing on the ground.

Allen's wooden gun is first seen holstered, then on the ground, then holstered, then partially under him on the ground again.

In the final car chase, it shows Allen shifting a manual transmission.

Because of the hybrid system, Prius is only available in automatic.

When arresting Ershon, Allen reaches for his cuffs revealing that his wooden gun has already been stained.

Yet a few scenes later Gene informs Allen that his gun was stained by Ershon's security team after the arrest.

Before the characters exit the garage in the chase scene, they race up to a stop and you hear a loud engine revving noise.

The electric motor in a Pruis wouldn't make that sound at such a low speed.

When Allen's wife crosses the street dressed as her mother to come talk to him, Allen's dark ear piece is visible during their conversation.

When Allen and Terry are at the McMannus Pub, there is a sing-along and a short, white-haired man is singing with the others.

He is singing, then a different camera angle shows him standing in a different place, not singing; then the camera goes back to the original angle and he's singing again.

In the scene where Allen and Terry decide to start fresh while walking through the city without shoes, several bystanders can be seen taking pictures and videos of Mark Wahlberg and Will Farrell filming the scene.

"The Other Guys" is part of a recent wave of big-studio comedies which revolve around neutered white/blue collar heroes, evil bosses, greedy bankers, recession woes, and directly reference the late 2000s global financial crisis. Directed by Adam McKay ("Anchorman", "Talladega Nights"), the film stars Will Ferrell and Mark Whalberg as a pair of police detectives.

This was surprisingly fun! I saw it on Netflix, didn't really like Daddy's Home all that much and just in general find Ferrell and Wahlberg to be really hit or miss.

There's a scene early in The Other Guys that sets the tone for the rest of the film for me. Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L.

This film is crap. How anyone can laugh at this film's 'comedy' is a retard.

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are 'the other guys,' the faceless nobodies toiling behind the scenes while their more outgoing colleagues grab all the glory. When the city's star cops, deceived by their apparent invincibility, dive to their deaths from a 20 storey building, Wahlberg sees their demise as an opportunity for himself and his mismatched partner to grab the glory for themselves.

The first 15 minutes is worth watching and it has the potential to become a fun movie. Then the Rock and Samuel L.

Yet another underrated movie given only a 6.6 when a minimum should be an 8.

I really enjoy this movie - it's just plain funny and there are so many parts where you get a great laugh. But the liberal spin and how Corporate America is full of nothing but crooks just gets on my nerves.

After Highsmith and Danson--New York City's hottest and best detectives--fall to their deaths during a rooftop chase, two positions open up to be the top cop. From surviving car chases to escaping exploding buildings and shootings, Allen Gamble and Terry Hoitz stick together as partners and attempt to become the city's new heroes.
