The film is set in 1937, but the "going-to-church" sequence features a car with headlights blacked out in the style required due to WWII in the early 1940s.

The covers on the headlights (see above) disappear midway through.

In the next to last scene Lizzy Flynn's cat is sitting placidly grooming himself on the stairway at Winward House, when he should be at the Jessop Farm with Lizzy Flynn.

When the ghost is seen the first 2 times, she has flowing blond hair, and a full face.

When she is seen when Rick confronts her on the stairs, she has short-cropped dark hair and a gaunt, pinched face.

Some movies you just know are not going to complete your soul. You watch them because it's a social circumstance - because you are never going to convince your group of friends to watch a Wojciech Has - or are just looking to get some images before your eyes that don't demand you work with them but passively absorb.

It really peaked at the end! This movie creates emotions and I was totally feeling it.

A great movie to watch.

As a brother and sister move into their dream house at the top of a West Country cliff, they find the grand-daughter of the local man who sold them the house has a fatal attraction linked to ghostly goings on at the place.Well produced melodrama that dulls its spookiness through whimsical music and touches of ooo-err humour by the lead actor.

Anna returns home after being institutionalised and tries to adapt to her new life. Her father Steven is now living with her late mother's nurse, Rachel Summer and both Anna and her sister Alex believe Rachel was responsible for her mother's death in a boathouse fire the year before.

When a little terrier chases after a squirrel, his owners, who are brother and sister, are obliged to follow him into an empty clifftop house. Falling in love with the house, they impulsively pool their money in order to buy it.

I've seen three movies that started out as a good horror movie, and then I feel ripped off when it turns out the lead character is just crazy. This is one of those movies.

In order for you (as the viewer) to get any worthwhile entertainment value out of watching "The Uninvited" you are gonna have to keep in mind that this ghost story was produced when the rigid "Hays Code" was in strict effect which clearly put a real strangle-hold on any picture's subject matter (especially in the genre of horror movies).Anyway - With that all said - Even though "The Uninvited" cannot be realistically judged by today's standards of horror it actually did contain a couple of genuinely spooky moments that (Can you believe it?
