In the 'Hong Kong' scene, at street level we can see the licence plates on cars have white lettering/numbering on a blue background.

Hong Kong cars have black-on-white at the front, and black-on-yellow at the rear.

In Fact, those car plates belong to Shanghai, according to the beginning "Hu" of the plates.

When FDR and Lauren go to the animal shelter, FDR opens a cage and lets a vicious dog out and fights to get it back into the cage, but doesn't close the cage door.

It stays open for the rest of the scene.

The amount of blood on FDR's and Tuck's faces, switches from scene to scene.

When Joe puts his beats on for the first time, the wire is on his left.

After the camera spans over to Tuck and back to Joe, the wire is on his right.

There are at least two Jeeps used during the final chase sequence.

When Tuck and FDR commandeer the the Jeep at the restaurant, it is an automatic with a column mounted gear selector.

You actually see Tuck use it to put it in gear.

Later during the chase sequence, the Jeep is a manual shift.

There is a close-up shot of the pedals when Tuck applies the brakes and a clutch pedal is clearly visible.

At the end of the scene they show a side-view of the Jeep and the shift lever is obvious coming up out of the floor.

The first helicopter shot has a helicopter with a tail-number registered in the USA (USA starts with N).

The second shot of the "same" helicopter is of a different helicopter, which has a tail-number starting with OE, which is the registration for the county of Austria.

Tuck's son Joe is missing two of his upper front teeth when meeting with Lauren in the school.

In the next scene, Joe is missing two of his lower teeth.

When Maya comes over to FDR's house for her Tuesday layover, her hair is up/down between shots.

When Lauren kisses FDR in the end and the guy passes blurred from right to left in front of the camera, Lauren's face changes slightly.

In final scenes at the end of the bridge, police van is parked parallel with the guardrail, with one ambulance also parallel and one diagonal.

(As it zooms out, camera and crew visible on bottom of screen) When the scene changes to aerial shot of bridge, police van is diagonally parked, the two ambulances are parked in an improbable T-shape, with on of the ambulances' doors facing off the bridge.

In the final chase sequence at the end of the bridge, they shoot and break the headlights of the silver van to open its airbag.

But after that when the car hits the guardrail the lights are not broken.

When FDR is packing a box with the contents of his office, Lauren calls Tuck to arrange a meeting.

Tuck slams the laptop on his desk shut, gets up, grabs his jacket and leaves.

As he walks away and off screen, the laptop is open again.

While in the store shopping, the paper towels are first down in the cart.

When she places pink item in cart, the paper towels are in the upper part of the cart.

Clearly seen when she is adding wine to cart.

In the highway chase scene at the end of the movie, Lauren suggests shooting the headlights on the Chevrolet Tahoe Heinrich is driving because of "front impact airbag deployment on all models after 2006.

" However, the Tahoe that is being driven is a 2006 or earlier model.

The Tahoe was redesigned for 2007.

When FDR takes Lauren to the Pizza restaurant and they are talking.

When the camera pans behind FDR you can see he is eating pizza then when the camera goes in front of him he is no-longer eating pizza and there is no pizza in his hand.

This happens 4 or 5 times over the scene.

Lauren walks into the night club with FDR without a jacket.

When leaving she's wearing one.

Position of Jonas' face changes when he is lying dead on the roof of a car, from face straight up to face sideways.

When FDR and Tuck are fighting in the restaurant they fall from an upper level to a lower level.

Initially, when they are both falling, it appears that they will miss the table.

In the next cut, they both land on the table.

When the Volkswagen Beetle is being escorted by Heinrich, the convertible top is down.

When it is mid-air heading into the pond, the top is up but not locked into position.

Then the close up in the pond shows the top down again.

In the scene where Tuck and FDR are being scolded after Hong Kong, Tuck starts talking but his mouth does not move until the angle changes.

The movie was shot in Vancouver, although it was set in LA.

In one scene, Trish is seen in her kitchen, with a box of President's Choice cereal.

President's Choice is a primarily Canadian brand (although available in certain U.

states) and would not be found in California.

During Tuck and Lauren's first date, there is a bottle of water by the table leg but it's gone in the next shot.

This means war starring Reese Witherspoon, chris pine and Tom Hardy is a really fun movie overall. The cast is great in their roles and the script is funny, romantic and had its moments of action.

This Means War is just as lame & offensive as other reviewers previously have stated. I'd read the user reviews, but wanted to see more of Tom Hardy (loved his performance in Lawless).

I forgot this movie was ever made and am now watching it in the year 2020. I knew it was going to be cheesy, tacky and everything short of Shakespeare.

Oh, my God. This film is staggeringly putrid, terrible, and creepy.

One of my gf and my favourite films! Cant believe the poor ratings!?

There is one certain way to get me to want to see a movie and that is to get Reese Witherspoon to star in it. Reese plays another career girl with a vague job (Is she a sales person?

Initially when I saw the poster i thought it would be worth watching, after all look at the big 3 cast members Reese Witherspoon has won an Oscar and Tom Hardy is the man that portrayed the bane character better than I could have thought possible. What a disappointment, that's all I could piece together after watching this flop of a romantic comedy trying and failing to be an action.

In my opinion this is such a great movie, actually I consider it one of my favorite movies. so many people didn't like it I don't know why but hey everyone has his opinion, but I loved it so much, I loved the story and I adore the cast specially Tom Hardy ad Chris Pine they are my sweetheart, and they're the perfect choice for this movie (my opinion), they made me hope to see them together in another movie (all action this time), I loved the friendship between their characters (Tuck and FDR) they have this strange chemistry in their friendship, like any movie unfortunately it has some flaws but I think the mistakes are forgivable in this movie, the music was good, the action was interesting and yeah it wasn't too much but acceptable.

I give this a 3/10 for the action and some light comedy. The worst of it however is the story line between the characters.
