When watching the footage of the security camera on the security monitors in the 3D version, the Time and Date stamping on the footage is in 3D.

If it were in real life this would all appear as a flat 2D image on the screen.

When Eve wakes up, her white dress has no blood on it.

In the next screen, her white dress has the blood on it again.

Detective Sebastian fires a total of 7 rounds at the Antigen van in the parking garage - three at the driver, three at the front-left tire, then one after it passes him - without reloading, yet the Taurus Judge pistol he is using is designed to only hold 5 rounds in its cylinder.

Later, after Sebastian has reloaded the pistol, he fires 8 rounds at Dr.

Lane, again without reloading.

She fires thousands of bullets during ending scenes, where did she get the extra-ammo? When the Lycans attack the vampire's coven, an earplug is clearly visible in one of the vampire's ears.

When David and Selene are being chased in a van by Lycans, the pedestrians walking on the sidewalks don't react at all to seeing the Lycans running past them or causing cars to crash.

When Det.

Sebastian is watching the security videos, we see a shot of Dr.

Lane taking Eve down a hallway, with the security camera preceding them down the hall (moving with them), rather than panning to follow them as would be expected from a fixed-position camera.

When Quint stops to inspect the dead Lycan on the road, the camera is reflected in the windows of the car as he drives off.

Yeah, it might've taken a different turn than one would hope but still a fun action filled sequel.

I don't understand why this movie is kept on getting good reviews. I agree little bit that it had some action flips in it but it didn't drive me crazy at all.

Review: I've never really been a big fan of the Underworld franchise, and this movie doesn't really help. All of the bloody movies seem the same, no matter what the storyline is.

I am a big fan of the previous underworld, especially the third, but this one, I could not enjoy it. The film begins by taking a risk and introduce you to a new context where the humans learned about the two species of vampires and lycans.

There is some good in this movie like the gore is cool, the practical effects were ok and it's not insufferable (mainly because it is only 1h 30) but as it is, underworld awakening has boring characters, meh acting, unimpressive action, and a boring save kid from company plot.

This was the fourth film in the "Underworld" franchise and, in this film, the war is widespread, with human beings finally gaining awareness of the existence of two immortal species living among them. Let's face it, after so much blatant destruction, it is hard to believe that normal humans discovered vampires and lycans so late!

Having just watched Underworld Awakening and not being an avid fan of the previous films in the series (not watching them), my stance on this film may not be as accurate as to those whom have seen the entire films in chronological order. However then I am reviewing this film based on this one solely.

So I'll start by saying I'm a massive fan of the original trilogy, including the rise of the lycans. I loved the world, ideas and history created that really grounded the original story.

Ok, ish. Good action scenes, and it's always good to see Kate Beckinsale.
