During the party, when David and Julie are upstairs in his bedroom kissing, Julie's head is tilted to her left when shot from in front of her, but tilted to her right when she is shot from behind.

During the party at David's house, Julie's hair is parted to the left, and later, it is parted to the right, while still at the party.

In the closing credits, there is a credit for 'The Who' (qv)'s performance of "Baba O'Riley" from the documentary _The Kids Are Alright (1979)_ (qv).

Actually, the short clip of The Who (seen during the montage in the final scene of the film) is footage of their performance of "Won't Get Fooled Again" from the same film.

When David and Brian are almost hit by the Mack truck, we can clearly see the camera and camera operator (wearing a hat) in David's side window.

When David awakes after sleeping in the street, the camera and equipment are reflected in the street puddles.

When David pulls up to his office early on, there are cars parked in front of and behind him.

In the next shot, from the side, those cars have disappeared.

When Brian tells David that the "new guy is shit" and then he says to David, "I love you, period," you can hear the crew laugh at this in the background.

When Sofia is holding the present for David at the party.

She gives it to David, then she is seen holding it in the next shot and then gives it to David again.

When Sofia is looking at the drawing that David made for her, we see her right hand move across the picture as she starts speaking.

In the following shot her right hand is holding the picture.

In the beginning scene when David wakes up and is getting out of his bed (before finding NYC completely empty), a crewmember is reflected in his TV screen.

When David goes to see Sofia for the first time after the accident, her ponytail is hanging in front of her shoulder.

In the very next shot, it's hanging down her back.

When Julie comes back, her strap is off and then on again.

At the end of the movie when David is standing in the entrance hall of the LR building you can see the camera team reflecting in the windows on his left.

Obvious stunt double when David runs to jump off the building.

In the car crash sceneone shot (from inside the car) shows the car about to hit the wall, and then it switches to an exterior shot of the car, and it's halfway between the bridge and the wall.

When David is having his 'erased' memories explained to him in the elevator by Edmund Ventura, he his told he battled the board for control of the company.

This is accompanied by a shot of the board around a table.

The TV at the end of the table reflects camera crew as the shot pans.

When David comes back to Sofia's apartment towards the end of the film.

He rips off the photos from the fridge.

But in the next shot when he is throwing something to the wall, the photos are still on the fridge.

When David and Brian are in the car in the beginning you can clearly see that they are about one or two feet higher compared to the other cars, even though they are in the relatively low Mustang, revealing that the car is probably on a trailer rather than on the road.

In the scene where David is taking his "mug" shots, it shows his height as just shy of 6', but he is 5'7".

Where David points to the mole on Sofia's chest, you hear her chuckle (and the closed captioning says [Chuckling].

However, her facial expression remains completely unchanged and the chuckling was clearly dubbed in.

In the Times Square sequence, in the far background you can see pedestrians standing watching the filming of the movie.

Toward the end of the scene when Brian confronts David, saying, "Hit me, but don't ever hit a girl!" In the shots of Brian, snow is falling.

When it cuts back to David, no snow is to be seen.

'Cameron Crowe (I)' (qv) notes in the director's commentary that this mistake was caught in post, but they excused it because this is one movie where it might actually make sense.

As David thinks he is having sex with Sofia (but it turns out to be Julie), the shots that include both 'Tom Cruise' (qv) and 'Cameron Diaz' (qv) show her hair to be multiple shades of blond/ash blonde with highlights.

However, when the angle changes to be from behind the bed and all you can see is Tom's face and the top of Cameron's hair, it is clearly not her hair but a one color, bleach blonde wig.

Eye line off in final scene.

When David runs to jump off the roof, he jumps up on the ledge and then stops and turns around to look at Sophia.

She is looking up at him, so he should be looking down - since he's higher on the ledge - but he's also looking up.

How can i start to convey the absolute truth about how unbelievably unforgettable this movie is. The writing, screenplay, dialogue and the beautiful cinematography where outstanding, but what really dazzled me was the extreme acting skill that was sieved out by the always excellent Cameron Crowe.

This film ticks all my boxes. It has great music, great acting, a beautiful twisted plot with highs, lows, and intrigue throughout.

...but I actually don't really know what to say, except that it is absolutely wonderful, and it is FOR SURE one of the best movies EVER made.

The movie is so underrated probably because the people at that time were not ready to understand the complexity of the movie but it is a piece of cake for the audience who love intelligent, twisted movies like inception, source code, matrix. Everything in the movie, the storyline, the drama, acting, music makes every second absolutely enjoyable and wholesome.

A wealthy playboy businessman is disfigured in a car accident. But all is not what it seems.

Every scene is too long and overblown in an attempt to get the point across. A lot of talent involved too.

"Vanilla Sky" is a Mystery - Romance movie in which we watch a very famous and privileged man getting onto a car accident with a lover of his. From that point everything will change for him and he will have to deal with some new situations.

Vanilla Sky is a dark psychological drama about dreams, reality and 'what might have been'. The movie starts with rich lifestyle of an actor who runs a business of his father with great interest.

Pretentious, boring, lengthy, incomprehensible, Spanish: the bad words keep spilling out. Only the undetermined "attractions" of star Tom Cruise caused this dreadful picture to make the approximately $40m it is billed as having earned.
