Title says it all. This movie is awesome, trouble is I could not figure out how to jump into the TV and transport myself to Antartica to meet her and be her friend.
Heart warming family drama, give me a break... There's literally nothing heart warming about this movie, it's an idle hipster family who gets in trouble with Russian mob because the soccer mom cat lady was so idle that she disclosed all of the family's private information to them via some sort of Siri/Alexa/Google assistant knockoff app, and after that she escapes to Antartica?
Nice movie with a little bit of a problem with rythm, some beautiful and ironic parts, a funny documentary within the film and a great performance...
Not a great film, but very good thanks to the performances of Cate and the girl who plays her daughter. Nice to have a story that has a plot instead of car crashes and special effects..
Very enjoyable movie, Cate Blanchette is amazing, a very unexpected story. Loved it.
If you are an extrovert this movie may not be for you. The extrovert may think Bernadette has many issues (and she has a few) but how she is squeezed into a corner with no way out is something I (and I being an extreme introvert) can truly understand.
I really didn't like this film, everything was predictable from the beginning. Characters were just generic and quite cliche, a husband quite detached from family, their child is smart and very close to her mom.
The great much underrated movie deserves more appreciate. It is full of pathos and fun.
