7th annual WrestleMania taking place in the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. This caused a lower attendance compared to the previous WrestleManias as far back as WrestleMania 3 due to this being in an arena rather than a stadium or coliseum.
Aside from the surprisingly great Randy Savage vs. Ultimate Warrior retirement match and the reunion of Miss Elizabeth and Savage in a genuinely emotional moment, this Wrestlemania was pretty underwhelming.
This is a star filled mania some of the all time great single performers. hall of fame tag teams all the titles on the line ,careers on the line, blindfold wrestlers returning giants & pipers love story and a fight for the flag.

To be honest I've got no idea if this was actually billed as a double main event show, but it certainly should have been. The build to both big matches: Randy Savage vs The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan vs Sgt Slaughter started at the Royal Rumble.
This Wrestlemania was originally supposed to take place outside of Los Angeles, but Vince McMahon scrapped the idea. This was because Iraqi sympathiser Sgt Slaughter was supporting the Gulf War and he set the USA flag on fire.
First off, yes, the Slaughter/Iraq angle was stupid. But the Heat for the main event was off the charts and, shockingly, Slaughter carries Hogan to a decent match!
