When Neil and Dupree are watching the game at Carl's house, Carl gets home, opens a bottle of scotch and pours himself a glass.

When he approaches Dupree he is holding the opened bottle, then the cap is on, then it changes to the glass of scotch that was on the counter, then back to the capped bottle.

When Molly and Dupree are waiting for Carl to come home for dinner, you see Molly rest her hands on her plate.

When the shot comes back to her, the plate is then gone.

In the final scene, at the convention, the woman in the front row jumps out of her seat.

In the next shot, she is sitting, and in the shot after that, she is standing again.

When Carl is jogging next to Depree on his bike, the amount of sweat on his shirt differs.

When Dupree is sitting in the rain on the bench, his bike is standing to his left on the curb.

The next shot shows it five feet in front of him in the street.

Dupree asks Molly to open the bottle of Merlot for the dinner the three of them were to have.

The bottle she opens is a Ravens Wood Red Zinfandel, not a Merlot.

When Randy and Molly are in the kitchen talking, Molly is boiling hot water in a Le Creuset tea kettle which whistles, even though the "whistler" isn't in the spout.

Also that model of tea kettle has a harmonic hum not a whistle.

When Dupree is going back towards the house to save his never-seen-lady-friend, he raises both hands, then is shown with his hands down again without time to have done so.

At the end when Carl is about to apologize to Molly, Molly's bra straps are visible on her shoulders.

In the next shot they are hidden by her shirt, and then they are back again.

When Carl came home from work he poured a drink, then walked away from the bottle to talk to Dupree.

In the next shot the bottle is in his hand and in the next shot the glass is again in his hand.

The size of the rip on the back of Carl's shirt after the dinner-gone-wrong scene changes from bigger to smaller in subsequent scenes.

When Dupree is playing baseball with the neighborhood boys, he goes and talk to one of the boys where you can see a UPS truck.

When he goes back a second time, the UPS truck is gone.

The third time he looks over at the boy, the UPS truck is back again.

When Dupree makes breakfast for Molly and Carl, he puts a large yellow bowl (the one he used the day before to catch the water from the overflowing toilet) on the breakfast table.

In the next shot, the bowl is gone.

During the dinner scene with the four characters, the bottle of wine keeps moving between shots.

When Dupree is moving out, and carrying his duffle bag, the strap alternates over his left and right shoulder.

Near the end of the film when Dupree goes into the bar and talks with Carl the glass of alcohol that Carl has changes places on the table.

Molly's hair as she talks to Carl near the end of the movie.

When Molly and Carl are arguing in the kitchen when Molly's father is in the living room, a green pepper is on the kitchen counter, it disappears, and then it reappears in later shots.

In the skateboarding scene, Dupree's knee pads are up before the crash cut scene and down afterward.

When Carl comes home to find Dupree playing baseball, the driveway is on the right side of the house.

Throughout the rest of the movie, it is on the left.

When Carl comes home late for dinner, there are two bottles of wine on the table.

In the reverse angle (form Carl's side of the table) there's only one bottle.

When Carl and Molly are arguing in the kitchen during the dinner with Molly's father, the number of crab cakes on the griddle goes from four in one shot, to six in the shot following.

When Dupree lies on his back getting ready to drink the Flaming Tornado, a microphone head is clearly protruding through the tight shirt where the collar ends.

After Carl and Molly kiss at their wedding they turn to walk back up the aisle with Carl on the left and Molly on the right.

In the next shot they have changed sides with Molly on the left and Carl on the right.

Near the end when Dupree jumps off the curb and hurts his leg or ankle, the closeup shot includes a large pole of some sort coming out of the lawn above the curb, whereas nothing was there in the wider shot.

When Molly and Carl are arguing in their bedroom about Dupree having changed the message on their answering machine, the purse on the dresser changes from a pink bag sitting upright to a yellow bag laying on it's side.

When Carl gives Dupree the hip flask for being his Best Man, Dupree puts the top on the gift box.

When the camera returns to Dupree the top of the gift box is off.

When Molly goes down stairs because she can't sleep she stumbles upon Dupree on the bean-bag, she drops both glasses.

You can only hear one glass break and in the next scene she is still holding the glass that she dropped from her left hand.

When Molly approaches Carl on the front door in the final scene, she has lipstick on, when the cameras cut to Carl and back again, the lipstick is faded.

The premise could have made for a very funny film but the jokes in this are so over the top that it just commits harikari It's not 'Something About Mary' o.t.

You me and Dupree really is a horrible film and was a big disappointment to me. I usually like Kate Hudson, and Matt Dillon has certainly been involved in good material in his professional acting career, but this garbage is just sad.

This is classic!!! critics got it wrong.

I was expecting this film to to be humorous initially, however my expectations were greatly exceeded as this was by far the best movie of 2006 I have seen and probably the mid 2000s. First of all Owen Wilson plays a devilishly charming, almost lovable loser-esque character who is down on his luck and in bad times.

This very much starts as a slacker type comedy with raucous male friends as Matt Dillon gets married and starts a new life as a newlywed married to Kate Hudson and he is working at his father in law's company (Michael Douglas.)However Dillon takes in Dupree (Owen Wilson) when he goes through a rough patch and we cringe as Dupree turns his life upside down with his nasty habits even leading to his house being burnt down.

Crazy home wrecker comedy mostly unfortunate and heartwarming. By the great Russo Brothers that did several Avenger movies so this still has awesome vibe to it despite the flaws!

Pretty good.

My god what a boring movie. I can't believe that this is from the Russo Brothers.
