Bill's horse's breast collar when the gang is running away from Garrett.

The Royal Albert tea cup that John Poe uses was not manufactured in that pattern (Old Country Roses), until 1962.

When the Kid is going to shoot thought Doc's chain in some angles the front sight of the Kid's revolver is filed off, in some it is intact.

After his capture, when Billy is in the room with Deputy Bell, there is a knock on the door, Deputy Bell cocks his Winchester, putting the hammer back in the firing position.

When the door opens, the Madam, Jane Greathouse, is standing there, Bell has the Winchester at his shoulder and the hammer is in the down, or fired position.

In the whore house scene where the towns people mistakenly shoot the sheriff, Billy explains in voice-over that he was blamed for that killing though he never even fired a shot.

This is an error as Billy clearly fires the first shot as he pushes the sheriff out of the front door inciting the towns people to open fire on who they think is Chavez the Indian.

In the scene where the gang is surround by Garrett's men and Doc is shot, Arkansas Dave Rudabaugh is seen standing straight against the wall holding both guns up, after Billy hands Doc a second gun, Arkansas Dave Rudabaugh can be seen crouched with the right hand gun parallel to his side.

In the next shot he is standing against the wall again with the guns held up.

In the White Oaks whorehouse, just as Billy agrees to send an Indian out to satisfy the crowd, we see Dave getting up from the table.

In the very next shot Dave is stood next to the Sheriff, tapping him on the shoulder.

After the huge success of the first film, it was greenlighted a sequel 2 years later, written again by John Fusco with filmmaker Geoff Murphy ("The Last Outlaw", "Freejack") stepping in replacing Christopher Cain and featuring the surviving cast of the first film: Emilio Estevez as "Billy the Kid" Kiefer Sutherland as "Doc" Scurlock and Lou Diamond Phillips as Chavez y Chavez with the adding of William L. Petersen ("To Live and Die in L.

Directed by Geoff Murphy. Starring Emilio Estevez, William Peterson, Lou Diamond Phillips, Kiefer Sutherland, Christian Slater, James Coburn, Alan Ruck, Jenny Wright, R.

Released 1990, "Young Guns II" details events as told by 90 year-old "Brushy Bill" Roberts, who claimed to be Billy the Kid in 1950, shortly before his death. The plot is essentially accurate to history, revolving around Pat Garrett (William Petersen) being hired to track down Billy (Emilio Estevez) and his gang, which includes Chavez (Lou Diamond Phillips), Doc Scurlock (Keifer Sutherland), "Arkansas" Dave Rudabaugh (Christian Slater) and Henry William French (Alan Ruck).

YGII was an exceptional sequel.Billy the Kid (Emilio Estevez) garnered a new gang and was up to the same old mischievous antics.

Geoff Murphy took over directing duties for this sequel, which opens with Billy The Kid(again played by Emilio Estevez) as an old man trying to tell his story of how he escaped the fate recorded by history to survive, as John Chisum(played by James Coburn) hires lawman Pat Garret(played by William Petersen) to track down Billy and his gang(returning Kiefer Sutherland & Lou Diamond Philips, along with Christian Slater & Alan Ruck) and kill them, as they are wanted outlaws he in particular wants eliminated, but Billy tells a different fate for them then previously described... Adequate sequel isn't as good as the first, with a contrived new story, but it is still put across in an entertaining fashion.

A solid sequel. Some might argue better than the 1st.

The first "Young guns" movie was hardly a classic , but definitely a good movie worth watching. It was aimed at MTV teenagers and quite a refreshing take on western.

An old William H. Bonney (Emilio Estevez) retells his life as a young Billy the Kid.

There are films that negate themselves in their final twist, or during the credits. The Usual Suspects is a classic example of a film in which the final five minutes negate the entire rest of the feature.
