I love comedies. The Lethal Weapon films were brilliant, Mel Brooks' works is brilliant the films starring Gene Wilder and Richard Prior such as Stir Crazy and See No Evil Hear No Evil were brilliant.

I watched this on DVD last night, shamefully because of what i had heard around the time of its cinema release. Well that taught me a lesson.

I wont dwell on the story because it's pretty straight forward, like what the trailer shows. I enjoyed this movie a lot.

I saw this movie alone and i had a blast! i didn't expect much from it...

Okay, I can understand why people mayn't like this film, the story while simple and often charming is also predictable and daft and the gags are on the puerile and lowbrow side. The script however while going overboard perhaps with the expletives is very funny and perhaps quotable.

This movie was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be when I recorded it, that way I could delete it if it was bad. Zooey Deschanel plays the kidnapped princess, this is by the obligatory bad wizard.

I watched and loved Pineapple Express, and had high hopes for this, but when I finally got round to seeing it I sat transfixed with horror at the sheer unfunniness of almost the entire film. Danny McBride was the chief culprit I think, being both the principle protagonist and the writer.

I like Danny McBride's sense of humor in things like Eastbound and Down, which is a half-hour show. When you extend the penis jokes and the not-funny homophobic lines to an almost-2-hour movie, it's kind of painful.
