Alex sees a reflection of a bus traveling in an impossible direction, but this is only a vision, not an actual reflection.

Alex dreamt that there was a decompression and part of the plane's fuselage broke off.

This would neither be related to the scavenger fuel pump explosion nor would it cause such an explosion.

A flight leaving JFK International Airport for Paris could travel back over New York City, depending on wind conditions at takeoff.

You can clearly see the eyes moving on the "dead" body lying on the table in the morgue.

The plane exploding is too far away from the terminal windows to shatter them.

Also, the time it takes for the windows to shatter after the explosion is inconsistent with the speed of sound given the distance.

When Clear is in the car, she moves the lever all the way to the bottom which for an automatic would be 1st gear, yet when she hits the gas the car goes backward.

At the memorial service, a lady in a purple outfit holding the flowers walks down the aisle twice behind Alex.

Alex's boarding pass (shown in the opening credits) has him assigned to seat 25-J.

In fact, he sits in seat 25-I (though most airlines don't use "I").

Clear's hair in the garage when she takes off her welding helmet is curled, then straight, then curled again.

Valerie Lewton's death scene could not have taken the time for Alex to be driven to the police station, have an interview, and walk back to her house.

Teacher closes lid on whistling kettle after pouring water; in next scene, it is open again.

When the teacher is lighting the gas under the kettle just before she dies.

Reflections of three lights can be seen in the kettle.

No kind of practical lighting is present in the next shot which could have created these reflections.

At the funeral, the two girls sitting next to Alex (across the aisle) disappear and the row of people shift over to accommodate their absence.

During the memorial service at the high school, the speaker says that 39 students and teachers were lost.

But there were 40 in the class, with four teachers, and seven people got off the plane so it would be 37 people who were lost on the plane.

When the toilet is leaking in the bathroom when Tod gets strangled, the water is leaking from the water line valve not the tank.

However, the water running down the tile is blue as if it came from a tank that had toilet cleanser in it.

In the directors commentary, they explain that the water they used was deliberately blue so that the audience could see it better.

if the water had been ordinary clear water it would be nearly invisible to the audience.

However during this scene, if you look carefully you can see the floor has been built sloping down slightly obviously for getting the water to run across the floor.

When the 747 explodes, the shadow of the plane can be seen still flying as the fire ball is falling.

After Billy is decapitated, Carter wets himself.

The urine stain on his trousers changes when Clear and Alex walk away.

Carter's car, when first we see it, is a Chevy Nova SS.

You can recognize that model by the letters "SS" on the front grille.

In the night shot later when Alex and Billy and Carter meet at the memorial, the "SS" is missing.

Subsequent shots are of a car that matches the first car.

As Carter's car arrives at the crossing, a blank white crossbuck sign with a red border is seen.

This is how the signs look in Canada (where the film was shot), but in the U.

the signs say "Railroad Crossing".

In the alternate ending on the DVD, Clear has a photo of her and Alex where one of them is holding a white rose.

This is the photo taken from the beginning of the movie, but the position of the photo is not the same angle that the photo was taken from.

At the memorial service, the speaker says that four teachers were aboard the plane, but earlier on Ms.

Newton explains to the police officer that she has to be let back on the plane because the students will be alone.

If there really were four teachers, two teachers still would have been on the plane.

When Clear is in the car at the end, she knocks over a can of turpentine.

When the camera turns back to the can, you can see that the can has changed the way it fell.

Before Terri is hit by the bus, puddles and wet patches can be seen on the road and path.

But when the bus hits Terri they are suddenly gone.

When Carter and Alex are in a fight and the windows break after the plane explodes, a woman in a black suit who walks in front of Billy falls twice between shots.

When Alex opens the tin near the end, he opens the paper with his left hand, but in the next shot he puts the paper on the table with his right hand, with no time in between to transfer hands.

When Terri gets hit by the bus, there is a large crane parked in the road where the bus would've been coming from, making it impossible to have the speed at which it hit her.

Although this film is set in New York, the train that smashes Carter's car is a "BC Rail" train, which only runs in Canada.

When the vodka is dripping through the coffee cup as Valerie Lewton walks to the computer it just drips onto the floor and leaves a trail of small drops.

Later on when the computer ignites the small drops of vodka they have turned into a much wider trail.

Also the coffee cup could not hold that much vodka.

When Alex is in the safe house and begins opening the can of food, he starts opening the can with the spoon in his right hand.

When the angle changes it's in his left hand, then again it's in his right hand when he goes to eat it.

A Panago Pizza restaurant can be seen down the street from the café where Alex and Clear are.

There are no Panago Pizza locations in the States.

At the airport, the French teacher addresses the students with "écoutez, les enfants!", which means "listen up, children".

No French speaking person would ever address 16-18 years old with "enfants", "enfant" meaning a (little) child up to perhaps ten or maybe twelve years at the most.

In Ms.

Lewton's "death scene" she has one knife stuck in her chest and another that falls and rests near her waist.

When Alex is taking the falling chair off of her they show three rapid shots.

First the knife is there, then it's gone, then it's back again.

When Alex throws the magazine at the owl in the window and is shredded by the fan, a piece lands on his leg.

However, when the camera angle switches away and them back to his leg, the piece has changed position.

It has rotated.

In the scene before Terry's death, there is clearly a stunt double used when Carter knocks Billy off his bike.

In the scene before Terry's death, where Carter knocks Billy off his bike, you briefly see Billy in the distance riding his bike towards the camera, however if you look closely it is clearly not the actor (and presumably a stunt double).

When the 747 is supposedly in a nosedive, items can be seen falling down, toward the front of the cabin, as if the aircraft was still.

The G-forces caused by a high speed dive would pull items up, toward the back of the cabin.

When the song "Rocky Mountain High" is playing in Ms.

Lewton's house, the audible parts of the song are not played in order.

When Alex got on the plane, it was shown clearly that he had fastened his seat belt in his seat.

However, when he woke up from his premonition, he could immediately get up and rush off to sit with Todd without having to unfasten the seat belt first, when Christa and Blake asked to change seats with him.

Near the end of the movie when the girl is in the car with the electrical wires on it, the guy on the outside says "don't touch anything, you're grounded by the tires.

" In fact she is insulated, since the tires are rubber.

When Alex is in the restroom before getting on the plane you can clearly see his underwear while he is sitting on the toilet.

In the shot where Lewton pours hot water from her whistling teakettle, no steam is visible.

Also, seconds later, as she is talking to herself, the kettle is visibly steaming.

When Clear was in the car that was being attacked by the electrical wires, Alex said that the car was "grounded by the tires".

This is incorrect as the rubber tires are actually an insulator, hence they do not complete the circuit (ie.

ground the car).

Also, the car should, in theory, act as a partial Faraday cage, which means that all of the charge would be on the outside surface of the object (in this case the car), and that the person inside would be safe When Alex pushes Todd shortly before boarding the plane, Todd says "Ow that hurt".

But when he says "That hurt" his mouth is not moving.

When Todd slips and is strangled, the water running towards his feet which have shoes on.

When he slips, the shoes disappear and his bare feet slip on the tile.

Originally written as an episode of The X-Files, Jeffrey Reddick ended up turning his script into a movie that became five films, two comic books, and nine novels. Not bad for a guy who sent in his first script to New Line at age fourteen, which led to a phone and mail friendship with studio head Robert Shaye.

Death itself being the serial killer that is stalking and killing a bunch of kids who dodged their appointed time to die, is an interesting concept. At least it was a new spin on a horror film of this type after the glut of Scream knock-offs that had been littering theaters throughout the late 90s.

The best of all, others are perfect too ,except from FD4(it needs to be re-shot with low budget as it was in Paranormal Activity series this will be really good).First film still jumps my skin when I watch it on TV or somewhere else,It still keeps it's reality and magic.

Worthy horror film that is disturbing every time at least for me! A force beyond our power death in a supernatural way that I love so much!

The first Final Destination is recognized as somewhat of a classic in some circles, but for whatever reason doesn't seem to have been given its proper place in the pantheon. The idea for the story and the way it is executed, pun intended, is really clever, filled with diabolical humor and imagination.

Final Destination is a very original taste of movie. The plot, the effects, the deaths are very original and thematic.

Director James Wong's FINAL DESTINATION is one of the better post-SCREAM horror films. The basic idea is lifted from the very creepy SOLE SURVIVOR.

I'm usually the first to cringe at awful teen-slasher horror cliches, or cheesy plot elements in horror movies. Films like Netflix's The Open House are everything wrong with the horror genre.

This is a fun flick. After all these years I still feel like the first takes itself a little too seriously and is overly goofy in parts.
